Atopic dermatitis can take everything from patients. It can rob them of opportunities, moments and feelings. It steals days. Days and days and days of their lives.
To launch the first ever Atopic Dermatitis Day we created a film which empathised with patients, whilst telling them that this is one day that can’t be taken from them.
We hear a woman telling the story of an unforgettable girls holiday from the 90’s, the off the cuff moments that helped forge a lifetime friendship. We reveal that rather than recollecting her own memories, it’s yet another time that Atopic Dermatitis has taken from her.
To raise further awareness for those living with the disease, the campaign will be supported by a donation-based mechanism that will see 1 US Dollar donated to International Alliance of Dermatology Patient Organisation for every social media share.
