Katungulu Mwendwa, is a renowned Kenyan born fashion designer, she believes that Kenya as well as other African cities face rapid economic development, which may lead to the death of its traditional cultures. She hopes that by referencing these cultures in contemporized designs while promoting her collections as extensions of these cultures, she may contribute to their continued existence.
With so many different international labels releasing their Fall collections, Katungulu Mwendwa needed a campaign that strengthens customer loyalty by stage setting the brand in a fascinating new way. She needed to be relevant and create a buzz especially for the contemporary African millennial woman.
We took the name ‘Fall Collection’ literally and created visual communication where we shot models falling and captured them mid-air.
