Urban Vision: Ad/sorbent


As an industry, advertising is part of the pollution problem, selling products that are often at the core of this dramatic environmental issue, such as cars. But can advertising be also part of the solution? Ogilvy Italy thinks so and, in partnership with Urban Vision (one of the leading italian outdoor companies) created Ad/sorbent and replaced the wrapping of 4 OOH in Milan, Rome and London with The Breath, a made in Italy, cutting edge fabric that captures and absorbs air pollution. The results? In only 15 days, Ad/sorbent cleaned the air from the emissions of 67,612 cars. Last, but not least: Urban Vision committed to replace all its wrapping with this new technology by 2018, this means cleaning the air from the emissions of 14 millions car in one year.
