Creighton Osteoporosis Research Center commissioned Bailey Lauerman to develop a print ad that promotes their annual fundraising event for research against osteoporosis. Our approach is based on the fact that running and exercise have been known to help build healthy bones. For initial stopping power we used an enlarged image of a running shoe. Art direction highlighted focus on the sole, which doubles as a healthy human spine. As a result, the event was widely considered a success, and the client is planning on repeating the concept in 2016.
