McKinney JöLLY: The first wearable that tracks happiness

Called JöLLY, the first holiday wearable for your face tracks happiness, and we launched it right before what is supposed to be the happiest time of the year. Perpetually in beta, this white beard is lined with adhesive sensors that send real-time smile data to an app. Don't smile enough? You get...well, zapped. JöLLY was one of many ideas submitted to, McKinney’s Internet island of misfit toys. Descriptions of and prototype schematics for the ideas that didn't make the cut are still there. Consider it our merry celebration of false starts.
