Fazer Tutti Frutti, one of the biggest candy brands of the Nordic Countries, invited us to create the next summer promotion and sell 1 million candy bags. We borrowed and lease a real tropical deserted island off the coast of Mauritius, named it Tutti Frutopia and divided in pieces and shared over 1 million Tutti Frutti candy bags and started a web based competition to choose the next king to win a trip to the island. With a unique code in every bags all the buyers earn a piece of Tutti Frutopia land, with ownership certificate and actual GEO-coordinates (mapped to a pin on Google Maps) and become a citizen of the Island. Tutti Frutopia quickly gained inhabitants from Sweden, Finland, Estonia, Denmark and Norway where the campaign was launched, but still needed a ruler. Participating for all 14 weeks, all the landowners and citizens were tested and competed to become the Ruler of the Island playing the games on the website facing geography and memory challenges, stress and pressure tests, creative obstacles as designing the new flag and deciding on next year's Tutti Frutti bag flavors. After 3 months the top scores won a trip to the real island in Mauritius for the coronation of the King with all the honors.
